ABOUT

About the Workshop

Join me, Karen Louise George – photographer, artist, and your friendly host – as we experiment with different cyanotype printing styles. Together, we’ll explore adding unique textures and colors using simple ingredients, such as spices, liquids and paints. I’ll provide inspiration and guidance throughout the session, helping you create something beautiful and personal.

All the materials you’ll need, including a selection of foliage and wildflowers, will be provided. However, if you have specific items in mind, feel free to bring them along to customise your prints.

This workshop is designed for those who have tried cyanotype printing before and wish to enjoy the opportunity to take your skills to the next level. Refreshments and a light lunch are included, and you’re welcome to bring your own snacks or drinks to enjoy during or after the session.

HELPFUL STUFF

Practical Information

EQUIPMENT

You don’t need to bring anything with you, as all materials will be provided. However, if you’d like to take notes or jot down ideas, feel free to bring a notepad and pen. Everything else will be ready for you when you arrive!

WHAT TO DON

Please wear clothes that you don’t mind getting a little messy, as we will be working with a photographic emulsion that could potentially stain. While aprons will be provided, it’s always best to come prepared with clothing you aren’t too precious about, just in case. Comfortable shoes are also a must, as you’ll be standing and moving around during the workshop. This will help ensure you can fully enjoy the creative process without worrying about any accidental splashes!

QUESTIONS

If you have any specific requirements or questions before the workshop, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me. I’m happy to help and ensure you have everything you need to make the experience enjoyable and comfortable. Feel free to get in touch!

CANCELLATION

As the workshops are run with a small number of participants to ensure a personalised experience, we are unable to offer refunds. However, if you’re unable to attend, you may be able to transfer your booking to a future date. Please reach out to me as soon as possible if you need to make any changes, and I’ll do my best to accommodate you!
